Old Tafo Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Mr. Lord Inusah Lansah, together with a delegation from Connecticut in the United States of America has visited the abandoned Pankrono hospital project.
The project, which was started by former Tafo-Pankrono Member of Parliament and former Minister for Monitoring and Evaluation Dr Anthony Akoto Osei, had since been abandoned.
The facility was expected to provide quality healthcare for the people of Pankrono and also avert pressure on the Tafo government hospital.
Speaking at a meeting after the visit, the leader of the US delegation, Madam Edna Boateng, said it has been a priority for the team to provide support for their home country particularly in the area of health.
According to her, works will soon commence on the abandoned project to bring life back to the abandoned edifice.
