Highlight the benefits of homeopathy treatment – Prof Martey | 26th May, 2017

Reverend Professor Emmanuel Martey, former Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG), has called on homeopathy treatment practitioners to educate the public on the effectiveness of their method.

He said such healthcare delivery methods were not too common and therefore not known to the public adding that once the World health Organisation (WHO) has accepted the treatment as an alternative healthcare, it was safe for everyone, hence the need for more awareness creation.

Reverend Martey, who was speaking at the opening of the 10th branch of C4C Homeopathic Hospital in Koforidua, said aside the provision of healthcare, the hospital would provide jobs for the teeming nurses who have completed training.

He used the opportunity to commend Evangelist Dr Michael Kyeremateng, the President of the C4C Hospitals, for his effort.

As part of the opening ceremony, a book authored by Dr Kyeremateng, titled “Homeopathic Treatment in Healthcare Delivery” was launched by Professor Mrs Mary Botchey the University of Cape-Coast.

She described the book as a valuable insight to homeopathic treatment which “stands out for efficacy in treating chronic diseases”.

Professor Botchey, who said she has benefited from the treatment of Homeopathy, added that it was a science and practice that offers alternative healthcare services.

The C4C group of companies has over 100 employees nationwide including nurses, doctors and allied healthcare practitioners and Evangelist Dr Michael Kyeremateng is the National Chairman of the Alternative Medical Association of Ghana and an associate member for the Liga Medicorum Homeopathic Internationalis-Germany.
